April 11, 2020 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am America/New York Timezone

Description: The Langley Pond Loop Trail is a 2.8-mile loop trail located near Warrenville, South Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. We hiked this trail a while ago but at that time there was a lot of construction there due to dam repairs. That work is now essentially complete. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Meeting Place: We will meet behind the doctor’s offices at the Village at Woodside to car pool, leaving there at 9.30 am. Otherwise meet the group at the trail head just off Langley Dam Road for a 10.00 am departure.

Lunch: The hike leaders will arrange for lunch after the hike. Not sure yet where that will be but we will let everyone know before the hike. You must contact Laurie or Rita by April 8th if you want to go to lunch.

Distance: 2.8 miles

Terrain: Rolling terrain, sandy trail, mostly through a forested area.

Bring:  Good sneakers or hiking boots, water, snack, and binoculars to observe birds in the marsh at the eastern end of the trail.
