Assistant

Corporate Sales Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate via telephone and email with all new leads generated by the Company’s advertising activities according to the protocol and action cycles established by the Company and/or as assigned by a Corporate Sales Associate. Communications with the Company’s leads should integrate introductions for the assigned Corporate Sales Associate.
  • Enter accurate notes and data regarding communications with the Company’s leads into the database management system.
  • Assign new or reassign existing leads to a Corporate Sales Associate at such time as a request to communicate with a Corporate Sales Associate is made or a request for information is made that, according to current laws, rules and regulations, may only be answered by a licensed salesperson.
  • Coordinate reservations for lodging, dining, golf, tennis and fitness for prospective customers.
  • Cooperate with the Group Marketing Coordinator and Database Manager in creating and scheduling action cycles for communication with prospective customers.
  • Follow up with Corporate Sales Associates to ensure requests for information by prospective customers are fulfilled in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the fulfillment of materials and information as requested by prospective Customers.

Line Cook

We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the leadership of The Village Café’s specifications. The Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the Lead line cooks and General Manager in food production and safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations, and assisting with putting away deliveries.
  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and menu items for immediate consumption using recipes provided by the General Manager
  • Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, reach-in coolers and freezers, and all storage areas
  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and quickly
  • Operating large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills and/or griddles
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • Verifying that prepared food meets requirements for quality, presentation, and according to specification
  • Freezer pulls / setting up for the next day
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Line Cook

We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts and appetizers
  • Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, and all storage areas
  • Plating prepared foods based on Executive Sous Chef’s guidance
  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • Operating large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, deep fat fryers, and/or griddles
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible

Landscape Maintenance and Installation Technician

Assists with the installation of new residential and commercial landscapes involving site preparation, installation of sod, plants and irrigation. Assists with maintaining existing residential and commercial landscapes involving mowing, edging, weeding, raking, light pruning and clean up.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow safety protocols as defined by operator’s manuals and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, proper techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscape installation and maintenance.
  • Be able to gain knowledge of plant identification.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to safely operate tools such as shovels, rakes, rollers, blowers and other related grounds/landscape equipment.

Construction Site Staff

Under general direction, the Site Staff performs, plans, schedules, assigns and evaluates the work involved in various exterior grading and site maintenance areas related to the home construction and development work of Carolina Signature Homes and related entities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in general maintenance service to small machinery and heavy equipment to include but not limited to (changing tires, oil, belts, hoses, etc.) to ensure that equipment is operating with the proper safety components and operating correctly.
  • Converse by telephone, email and in person and be clearly understood
  • Read and interpret home and landscape construction specifications
  • Gather data and prepare reports related to public inquiries, request and personnel matters
  • Communicate both orally and in writing to prepare clear and accurate reports, estimates, lead discussions and present to general public, staff and contractors
  • Work in a mental and physically challenging environment in various weather conditions
  • Operate machines for extended periods of time while sitting or standing
  • Walk, stand, crouch, kneel, bend, squat, grasp, and perform repetitive movements for prolonged periods of time
  • Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 LBS
  • Safely drive to various locations throughout the City and County to fulfill assigned duties discussions and present to general public, staff and contractors

Construction Laborer

The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:

  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
  • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
  • Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
  • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  • Load or unload construction materials.
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
  • Remove, fill, or compact earth.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Assist craft workers.
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
