In case you missed it, Aiken, South Carolina recently took home not one but four Southern Living “South’s Best” Awards for 2018! Said Southern Living in their announcement article:
“Spend a weekend in this town, and you’ll see what makes it so special. One word of caution: Some of Aiken’s visitors have been known to come for the weekend and never leave, so you shouldn’t pack light.”
Because Woodside is immersed in scenic woodlands, and enjoys a climate that allows us to spend all year outside, we’re a “natural fit” for those that love hiking and being outdoors. The Woodside Trail Group, a 75-member club created in 2008 by Woodside residents, is an organization that has taken full advantage of those conditions both inside and outside the gates of our community.
Are you looking to make a difference? You’re not alone. The Women of Woodside is a not-for-profit 501(c)4 organization comprised of ladies that come together for social and community service activities.
The Reserve Sports Car Club was created for sports car enthusiasts by sports car enthusiasts, and you will recognize them immediately if you happen to pass by a club drive or car show.
Aiken has a long growing season, fertile soil, and a mild climate, and it comes as no surprise that those with a love of gardening enjoy the wide selection of plants that thrive here. The Gardening Club gets two (green) thumbs up for those that love to beautify their surroundings.
You may work a 9-5 job, you may be retired, but odds are, if you’re a Woodside resident, you still countdown each week to Friday night. Pub Club is a special weekly event hosted at The Reserve Club whose aim is to bring friends together, both old and new, over drinks, music and conversation. Be sure to build a Friday into your Adventure Awaits package if you’re able- Pub Club is by far the easiest way to put to rest any fears that you’d have trouble making lifelong friends at Woodside.
