Woodside Plantations’ “Hollow Creek Trail” (HCT) is a 5-mile hike that begins and ends within the Woodside community. It follows a well-maintained trail and reaches as far as the Anderson Pond dam on Anderson Pond Road before circling back. The trail is mostly flat and smooth. However, there are a few hills and a few short-duration rough areas with roots. If you have not done this hike in the last several months, you’ll see a section that has been rerouted due to the new Reserves’ “Peninsula” housing area now being developed.
