Woodside is very fortunate to be home to a community of people who strive to give back to both Woodside and the City of Aiken, South Carolina. Many of our residents dedicate countless hours of their free time to local charitable organizations, and one such group of Woodside neighbors- the Women of Woodside- is an organized unit of passionate ladies working together to affect positive change in a big way. Women of Woodside, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)4 organization composed of women who are residents or property owners within the Woodside community with two objectives: (1) fundraising and volunteering, and (2) community enjoyment. 2017 is their 29th year.

Since its inception, Women of Woodside has donated close to $1,350,000 to the Aiken community! In their 2015 to 2016 fiscal year, which ran July 2015 through July 2016, they donated $106,902.10 to local charities. From July 2016 through today, they have already donated more than $50,000 and logged 2,200 volunteer hours, and we could not be more proud of the work being accomplished by this astounding group of ladies.

Woodside is excited to partner with Women of Woodside for its Spring 2017 Southern Living Inspired Home Tour. These ladies will act as volunteer staff during the tour and administer ticket proceeds to our receiving charities: Saratoga WarHorse, ALS Society, and Operation FinallyHOME.
